How I turn travel photos into wearable art.

Posted by on

Travel is my ultimate inspiration. From the vibrant streets of Morocco to the serene mountains of Nepal — and even right here in California — I’m constantly on the hunt for moments worth capturing. Everywhere I go, my camera comes along for the ride. I take hundreds of photos — especially of architecture and flora.

Once I return to Los Angeles, the magic really begins. I sit down with my hundreds of travel snaps and decide which image captures the feeling of the place. That image becomes the blueprint for the next collection.

Next comes the technical part: I create the film from the photo and carefully burn the screen — a step that turns a simple image into a stencil ready for printing. This is where my designs start to jump off the page (or screen!) and take form as wearable art.

Finally, it’s time for the hands-on part I love most. In my LA studio, I hand screen print each piece, using high-quality, eco-friendly inks. Every jumper, dress, tee, or hoodie gets my full attention — each pull of the squeegee is intentional. No two prints are exactly the same, because this is a process that celebrates the human touch.

Travel feeds my creativity, photography captures the inspiration, and hand screen printing brings it to life. Each piece is a little snapshot of the world I’ve explored — something you can wear, love, and maybe even spark a memory of your own travels.
